Moda Center at Rose Quarter

Sometimes, the most memorable moments of a show are just brief seconds of silence, and they’re gone in an instant.
After a rollicking, show-opening cover of The Byrds’ “So You Want To Be A Rock ‘n Roll Star,” Tom walked slowly toward stage left, playing a slow progression on his dark red Gibson SG.
Just as he reached the lip of the stage in front of Scott and Ron, TP stopped, looked out over the sold-out Moda Center and paused…one…two…maybe three seconds, allowing the tensions to build…before picking out the famous opening notes to “Mary Jane’s Last Dance.”
The arena exploded in cheers.
