The stars came out in Music City on Tuesday night to welcome Tom and the band back to Nashville for their first show in four years.

Lucinda Williams, Sheryl Crow, Jason Isbell and more were among the sold-out crowd at Bridgestone Arena, which played host to Tom and the guys on the 2010 Mojo tour.

Steve Winwood, who splits time off the road between England and Nashville, received a hero’s welcome upon taking the stage and proceeded to play a beautiful hour-long
opening set highlighted by the rarely played “Back in the High Life Again.”

Winwood returned to the stage in the middle of the Heartbreakers’ set, leading the band through both the Blind Faith classic “Can’t Find My Way Home” and The Spencer Davis
Group’s “Gimme Some Lovin’,” which featured Ron Blair, Scott Thurston and Tom on backing vocals.

You couldn’t wipe the grins off Tom and the rest of the guys faces as Winwood exited the stage. With ten shows left on the Hypnotic Eye tour, it appears we’re in for a great last
two weeks of the tour!
