    “This is so great!”

Hattie Webb scanned the poster in her hands as a smile grew across her glowing face. In celebration of her birthday, the entire band and road crew signed a tour poster to Hattie, which she got upon arriving in Des Moines on Monday night.

The tour hasn’t yet reached the end of the second leg, and the Webb sisters have already ingrained themselves in the Heartbreaker family. Their incredible vocal abilities were never doubted, but the harmonies they’ve added to “Mary Jane’s Last Dance,” “Don’t Come Around Here No More” and especially “Wildflowers” have really added a beautiful wrinkle to the shows on the 40th Anniversary tour. And their energy, senses of humor (and Charley’s young daughter, Juniper) have added some light and life backstage every night.
