BOK Center
Tulsa, OK
September 28, 2014
Tulsa will always be a special place for Tom and the band.
It was here that Mudcrutch met Denny Cordell on their way to Los Angeles and the producer ultimately signed them to Shelter Records.
Cordell isn’t the only mentor the band has had from Tulsa. J.J. Cale also hailed from Tulsa, and was a huge influence on Tom and the guys.
So after the last notes of “Mary Jane’s Last Dance” rang out in the BOK Center, Tom stepped to the mike and said, “We’ve had some very special friends from right here in Tulsa, and it’s good to be back!”
