Petty Fest returned to New York City this week for the fifth year in a row boasting two nights and an expanded lineup featuring artists from across the rock 'n' roll spectrum.

Fans young and older packed the Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 5 and the Bowery Ballroom on October 6 for an experience which manages to come across as part legitimate concert and part raging and sometimes unhinged party.

The glue of the event and the reason everyone is gathered is the incredible music of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. And your Petty Fest hosts are The Cabin Down Below Band – a very impressive seven piece who bring deft musicianship and unbridled enthusiasm to over 30 tunes from the Petty canon.

These guys played their hearts out on every song, offering up the grooves and nuances needed to rewardingly deliver cut after cut - from rockers to ballads, deep album tracks to epic hits.

The set was masterfully constructed by Cabin Down Below Band bassist, show MC, and Roilling Stone senior editor Austin Scaggs and featured plenty of peak moments throughout. Check below for the setlists from both nights as well as the talent lineup.

The vocalists, both lead and in the background, are a revolving door of musicians and actors representing the finest of New York City and beyond's music and comedy scene. We're talking Norah Jones, Nicole Atkins, Jesse Malin, Ryan Miller of Guster, Jon Herington of Steely Dan, Tad Kubler of the Hold Steady, Will Forte and Jason Sudekis of Saturday Night Live, Michael Cera, Jack Dishel, James Iha, Reeve Carney of Carney and Broadway's Spiderman, Cory Chisel, Justin Long, Chris Chu of Morning Benders, Har Mar Superstar, Jessie Baylin, Tyson Ritter of All-American Rejects – and many more.

Plus throw in guest drumming spots at various points in the night by Patrick Carney of The Black Keys, Nathan Followill of Kings of Leon and Fabrizio Morretti of The Strokes, and you've got one killer lineup of talented people, all in the house to celebrate the music of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers with a room full of fired up fans.

Indeed, even the artists are fans at Petty Fest, helping to create a celebratory vibe that blurs the line between performer and audience and permeates everywhere and everyone in the house for over three hours.
