Today, Rockstar Games unveiled their highly anticipated first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI featuring Tom Petty’s “Love Is A Long Road,” from 1989’s Full Moon Fever, the iconic musician's first solo album.
After previously using Petty's "Runnin' Down A Dream" for GTA: San Andreas in 2004, the newest trailer from the series reveals a Petty easter egg in the form of a "Petty Forever" sticker using the color scheme from the Full Moon Fever album cover art.
The reaction has been overwhelmingly positive -- with fans referencing the beauty of the song and the title marrying seamlessly into a number of themes: the street-level setting, Tom Petty’s native Florida, and of course, the long road of love.
