Tom Petty will be returning to King of the Hill as the voice of \"Lucky\" in a few upcoming episodes. These episodes are scheduled to air on the following dates: March 16, April 20, and May 11, with two additional episodes yet to be scheduled. Stay tuned to TomPetty.com for the latest information.
Last September, Tom sat down with Ign.com and talked about his success on
King of The Hill and how he got to be involved. \"They called me
and I came down and did a part for them. They liked the character and kept
writing him in, and now he\'s been going on three years.\" Petty later went
on to say \"I
loved the show long before I did it and it was a complete coincidence that
I got called, because it was really one of my favorite shows.\" He also
said he felt comfortable with his character because \"I know who Lucky
is pretty well. Lucky is very philosophical. He\'s a philosophical idiot.\"
Petty goes on, praising his cast members, saying \"they\'re a fantastic
cast.\" The others all laughed when he said \"It\'s intimidating because
they\'re real actors,\" because as Pamela Adlon (the voice of Bobby Hill)
put it \"he\'s Tom Petty and he comes in and he\'s intimidated by us!\" Added
Petty, \"They\'re great people, and they made me feel at home. It\'s a privilege
to work with them.\"
