The year's first show is just hours away from beginning in Broomfield, CO and we are happy to share this video taken during rehearsals last week.
It includes some choice music and an interview about the this year's stage set with longtime Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers lighting and set designer, Jim Lenahan.

Bring back Jim!!
Bring back Jim!!
lighting
I thought the lighting and drapes or whatever you call them, Jim, looked fantastic last night in Wichita. LOVED the textures and changes of colors. How about that red, white, and blue for American girl, too?
You're right, you can do a lot with red. Kudos!
been waiting too long for...
'The Waiting'
You guys haven't played that one live in a long time. And, London would be the right place to do it.
Only one 'but'
It looks great. I'm looking forward to see those velours curtains in London, Paris and Amsterdam. It also sounds great. There's only one 'but'. I'm sure it'll be great nights, but they would even be greater when 'Breakdown' would be part of the setlist. After 20 years of absence 'The Waiting' would also be appropriate. Think about it.
be still my heart...
I have butterflies, can't wait to see you in Austin, O my gosh....
Boston
Tom, you must come to Boston this year.
Countdown to Mannheim
Can't wait.....to see this in the SAP Arena on june 30,,,,,
18th show
Very nice show last night and good choice of songs very diverse. Will be there again tonight the 19th and yet again excited for the show. Have'nt seen the band since the early 80s and I must say we have both aged well. Cheers and lets rock the joint.

Amazing
Those lights are amazing and I love the theatrical effect with the red curtains. But are there to be no video screens at all? What about the people at the back? (eg me, in Paris)

Nice set work!
Nice set work and even the red velour looks wonderfully classy! Reminds me of what will likely already be up at Le Grand Rex in Paris. Has that feel. Excited to see what you've all done.
