Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are pleased to announce that they will be auctioning off a pair of front row seats to every upcoming show on their Mojo Tour 2010 to benefit Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Haiti Earthquake Relief.
Since the massive earthquake struck on Janurary 12, MSF teams have treated more than 137,000 patients and performed 8,000 surgeries at 20 locations in Port-au-Prince. They are providing surgical and emergency medical care, addressing the post-operative needs of patients including rehabilitation, physiotherapy and mental health, and distributing tents, blankets, and hygiene and cooking kits to people still displaced or lacking sufficient shelter.
100% of the monies raised in the auction, including the ticket price, will be donated to support these important relief efforts.
Each auction starts approximately one month before the show date and ends approximately two weeks before the show date. Auctions for shows taking place in June have already begun. The auctions are run online via the ticketing service for each individual show (ie. Ticketmaster).
Visit the tour page to see all the tour dates - then link to the ticketing page (click the ticket icon) for the show you are interested in. This is where the auctions are held!

Hey Tom
Just went to see you guys in Tampa last night. Yes, you sure are lovable...all of you. Thank you. Mike Campbell may be the best under celebrated performer/player in the US. I particularly loved your new songs...you guys came alive for them. The thing I felt was missing was your funny connected to the audience self, Tom. It felt a little rote. I missed hearing a story or two, or some heartfelt acoustic moments. The place was crawling with guards and cops, which I guess makes people feel safe (hmmm?), but made me feel weird. Too neat and tidy...not a lot of letting go. I say it's time to do an outdoor free concert somewhere in Florida...bring back the heart and soul. You have it...and so do your fans. Let's have some real fun! You are the best...thank you.

I just can't thank you enough. After having gone through this horrible quake, your music was such a great comfort to me , especially Southern Accents, which perfectly echoed to me the way the wonderful, resilience of the Haitian people came through, trying to pick up the pieces in their own, down home way, even though we were all torn at the seams. And then you go and do this.Blew me away. How can i ever get across to you how touched and grateful we all are. No words can express . Simply , blown away. a million thanks from an entire nation but especially from me- a # 1 fan. God bless.

Disappointed TP Lover
Hi, just wanted to share how disappointed I have been in the handling of this entire tour, starting with the Mojo Package. I bought 4 Mojo tickets and still have NOT received the CD's or Posters. I did finally after several phone calls got discount codes for retail store to buy Tshirts for the Shows I thought I was attending but were cancelled TWO times on me. First at Hollywood Bowl it was cancelled on MY ANNIVERSARY date 5/22 which was disappointing and then flew to Ohio to see the show at Blossom on 7/20 and that show was cancelled. At this time I have spent money for two plane tickets to go to Ohio to take my sister who lives there and the show did not happen. I called and tried to get help to get me to another show that week in Pittsburgh but NO ONE was able to help and I called VIP Tickets with Live Nation (what a joke-they never called back after speaking to them) and also TP Fan Club. I have NEVER missed a TP show but I am seriously considering that maybe the last time I saw TP four years ago was my last!! I hope someone out there can relate!! Oh, and the downloads are a ZIP file I cannot open so still waiting on them as well :-(
No Auction in Dallas or Houston??
This page says a pair of tickets will be auctioned off for every show to benefit this worthy cause. No tickets are up for auction at either the Dallas or Houston. Why is this?
mr branch
I ordered the MOJO package almost 2 months back and Live nation can not even give me a status on the shipment after 2 months of waiting... and waiting...Live nation sucks when it comes to promos... I could have bought the CD in stores a month ago and I as still waiting... IT IS BS.
Mojo With a Cause
Thanks guys.
You Are Awesome
Way to give back. Hope the auction raises lots of money for a good cause.
Good Cause

I LOVE Mojo. I think this is the best record since Echo. It's better than Echo. Please keep it to this standard and God bless YOU!! I love you!!

Tom Petty and the HB put on a great show, I just wish I could have seen them better, due to the rude peple in front of us they made it almost impossible to see anything, they did nothing but drank and 2 guys were continuly facing each other talking through almost the entire show to each other, the other 2 made out in front of us through the whole show (putting on their own show which I did not want to see), not even watching the stage. Suggestion to the people, if you are not there to see the show stay home or at least have respect the people who are and let them enjpy it, we paid to see our favorite band too, I love and respect the heck out of Tom Petty and have loved him for years. I saw hom in Madison,WI near my b-day and was in the 4th seat, he made eye contact with me when I went up and stood in the front before I got kicked back to my seat, best b-day present ever, THANK YOU TOM!
Your my ultimate favorite!!!!!!!!! And I won't back down because I am a rebel without a cause.
Great Idea .....
This is a great idea, because it keeps the best seats out of the hands of the scum ticket scalpers. There should be some time of price cap, then a lotter once you reach the cap. Because if not, then once again the people with the most money will get the best seats. Whats the difference if you pay big money from a scalper oh sorry ticket provider at the mall or over the internet, vs paying big money on an auction.... Tom Petty has always been for the fans, remember when he was the first to fight the record companies to keep the prices down on Albums/CD's? He is tops in my books, music, and keeping greed out of his music. I think he said one time, how much does someone have to make, give the fans a break, after all, they helped us get here.... (or something like that.

This is an excellent idea, for a worthwhile cause! As always, TOM PETTY ROCKS! See you at BOTH the Buffalo, NY shows 9th row, center stage & 6th row, center stage - seat 1 !!!
very exciting
that is very exciting and very helpful to some people.
Where is it?
Unlike TP himself, this website is pretty dissapoiting. Where is the acutal link as advertised to the auctions? All the auctions should be linked to one page!!!!
