Five white banners ring the ceiling at Rexall Place, representing the five Stanley Cups the Edmonton Oilers have won in their history. Wayne Gretzky is largely responsible for four of those white banners, earning him a bronze statue out in front of the arena, a street named in his honor and his retired #99 jersey hanging in the rafters.

Two years after their sold-out Edmonton debut, Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers returned to Oil Country and received a hero's welcome that would make Gretzky blush. Riding into town hot off a sizzling show in Calgary the night before, the Heartbreakers left nothing to chance, pouring on a pile of classic hits one after another. Tom took a nice extended guitar solo on "Mary Jane's Last Dance" before intertwining leads with Mike Campbell on "Drivin' Down to Georgia." "First Flash of Freedom" is opening up more and more every night, evolving into the spacey psychedelic masterpiece the band envisioned at its genesis. This band is hitting on all cylinders now - you've been warned!
