Lockn 2014
Arrington, VA
September 4th - 7th, 2014
A little rain and some scattered lightning couldn't keep Tom Petty & the Heartbreakers from rocking their headlining slot at the Lockn festival on Saturday night.
Local authorities evacuated the venue at the end of Phil Lesh's set to allow for thunderstorms to pass through the area, but the music eventually won out, with terrific sets from Gary Clark Jr., Tedeschi Trucks Band, Lesh and Widespread Panic with special guest Steve Winwood.
As Tom and the guys made their way to the stage, the musicians and friends who had played earlier in the day lined the backstage walkway, a gauntlet of talented artists eager to cheer on these legends.
