    40th Anniversary Tour sweeps Pollstar Awards

    The Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers 40th Anniversary Tour swept all the major awards at Thursday night’s 29th Annual Pollstar Awards – an awards program for the concert industry.

    The band won Major Tour of the Year, and Rock Tour of the Year, overcoming competition that included U2, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, Roger Waters, Metallica, and more. Benmont Tench and Steve Ferrone were on hand to accept the awards on the band’s behalf.

    Tony Dimitriades, longtime manager of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, also won Manager of the Year.

So happy to hear this, I didn't know it was coming up but it feels really great -- The 40th Anniversary Tour won! After all our sadness the past 4 months it's like a statement to the world that TPATH were truly the best traveling rock and roll band ever.
