    Q: What is an Internet pre-sale?

    A: An Internet pre-sale is an opportunity to purchase concert tickets prior to tickets being made available for purchase by the general public.

     

    Q: Why are there two Pre-sale Groups?

    A: The Highway Companions Club wants to give fan club members who maintained their membership the first opportunity to purchase pre-sale tickets.

     

    Q: Do I have to be a Highway Companions Club member to participate in the Legacy and New Member 2017 Highway Companions Club ticket pre-sales?

    A: Yes, these pre-sales are only for members of the Highway Companions Club (HCC).

    Q: How do I know which pre-sale group I am a part of?

    A: Members qualify for Legacy status if they had an active membership that was renewed prior to Dec 11, 2016. Members in the Legacy or New Member groups will receive an email for their respective groups along with pre-sale dates and times.

     

    Q: How do I gain access to the Highway Companions Club Legacy & New Member pre-sales?

    A: In order to take part in the pre-sales you will need your unique pre-sale code. Pre-sale codes have been emailed to members. If you have not received a pre-sale code, please email: memberships@highwaycompanions.com.Then use your pre-sale code on the appropriate ticket purchase page listed on TomPetty.com/Tour during the pre-sale period to purchase tickets.

     

    Q: How do I enter my personal pre-sale code to take part in the pre-sale?

    A: When the pre-sale period for your chosen show opens you will need to visit the ticketing system event page for that show.  On that event page, there will be a box for you to enter your code. The links will be available on the tour pages of TomPetty.com.

     

    Q: Are all Internet pre-sales taking place on Ticketmaster?

    A: No. But, the majority of the concerts will be available via Ticketmaster.com or LiveNation.com. All pre-sale links will be available on the Tour Page of TomPetty.com closer to each pre-sale. 

     

    Q: Do the pre-sales start on the same day for all shows?

    A: No. Pre-sale start times are available on each concert’s pre-sale information page, listed here by clicking on the show date on TomPetty.com/tour HERE!

     

    Q: Do I have to buy my Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers pre-sale tickets in a specific timeframe?

    A: Yes, the member pre-sale windows of access for each show will start before the public sale and the earlier you participate in your eligible pre-sale for the show(s) of your choice, the better the selection of available tickets. The Highway Companions Club is able to offer members the chance to access pre-sale tickets in all price-ranges however, as capacity in each category may be limited, all pre-sale tickets are sold on a 'first-come, first-served' basis.

     

    Q: How many tickets can I buy during the pre-sale?

    A: With an active Highway Companions Club membership you are eligible to purchase up to four (4) tickets per show during the pre-sale and up to 8 tickets for the 2017 tour. 

     

    Q: If I miss the pre-sale for the show of my choice, am I able to use my pre-sale access code for public on-sale tickets for that show?

    A:  No.  After the pre-sale has ended for a show, any remaining tickets allocated for the pre-sale for that show will go on sale to the general public. Your pre-sale access code does not entitle you to any special access to tickets during the public on-sale. The links to the general public ticket purchase pages will be available on the tour pages of TomPetty.com.

     

    Q: What do I do if my personal pre-sale code does not work?

    A:

    1. Check that the pre-sale for your HCC group (Legacy or New Member) has begun for the show that you are trying to purchase tickets for.

    2. Check that you have entered your code correctly into the pre-sale code field on the event page. Please be sure to enter your code carefully. The codes are case-sensitive. We recommend that you type in your code rather than cutting and pasting.

    3. Check that you have not exceeded the ticket limit for your code. Each code is only valid for 4 tickets per show, except if a ticket limit is lower for a certain show, where noted.

    4. If this does not resolve the problem, please contact memberships@highwaycompanions.com

     

    Q: I have lost my old Highway Companion log-in information, what do I do?

    A: If you have access to the email address you used to sign up for your account but have forgotten your password please click here and click on the “Forgot your Password link. Then enter your email address into the Lost Password field. Your password will be emailed to the address on file. If you do not have access to the email you used to sign up for your account, please email our customer service team at memberships@highwaycompanions.com

     

    Q: How much do the Highway Companions Club pre-sale tickets cost?

    A: There are multiple price levels to choose from.  The Highway Companions Club pre-sale privilege gives you advanced access to tickets, it does not provide you with a discount on ticket prices or service charges.

     

    Q: How much are the Premium Ticket Packages?

    A: The price of the packages will be posted on the ticketing system purchase page and will vary by show.

     

    Q: Am I able to buy Highway Companions Club pre-sale tickets over the telephone?

    A: No.  Highway Companions Club pre-sale tickets are only available to purchase over the Internet.

     

    Q: Once I have ordered tickets, will I receive an order confirmation?

    A: The ticketing system will provide an online order reference number as confirmation of your purchase.

     

    Q: If I have any questions concerning my purchase can I contact someone?

    Q: Can I get replacement tickets if I lose my tickets?

    A: Fan Club tickets must be picked up on the night of show at the box office only with photo ID.  Fan Club members who purchased tickets for shows taking place in the State of New York should contact the customer service department of the ticketing system where the tickets were purchased.

     

    Q: What forms of payment are accepted?

    A: This depends on the ticketing system, however most accept all major credit cards including American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Diners Club.

     

    Q: How do I know where my tickets will be located?

    A: If you are buying seated/reserved tickets online through Ticketmaster, the specific seating location is displayed on Ticketmaster.com at the time of purchase. Other ticketing systems will also display your ticket locations.

     

    Q: Am I able to cancel my tickets if I am unable to make the show?

    A: There are no refunds or exchanges.

     

    Q: How can I purchase tickets for disabled access?

    A: For Ticketmaster events, click the accessible seating icon on the Event Detail page and fill out a form, which sends an email request to Ticketmaster's e-care for handling.  The form contains a field to accept your pre-sale code.  For non-Ticketmaster venues, please consult the FAQ for their ticketing system.

     

    Q: What if I am not happy with the tickets I purchased?

    A: By completing a purchase for tickets you are in agreement that the seat locations you purchased are satisfactory.  There are no exchanges, refunds or cancellations.
