nods to his credit, received his 17th and 18th nominations this morning.



His latest album, the critically-acclaimed \"Highway Companion\" (American
Recordings/WBR) has been nominated for Best Rock Album, and the single
\"Saving Grace,\" received a nomination for Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance.



Some of Petty\'s previous Grammy nominations include Full Moon Fever (Album
of the Year), Wildflowers (Best Rock Album), \"Learning To Fly\" (Best Rock
Song), \"Into the Great Wide Open\" (Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group
