I can't say how much my husband and I loved this show. I am sure each night was just as wonderful.. This was our 7th concert and no less great than the previous six. It was truly for the devoted, die hard fans (which makes me very happy), not what I call "corporate groupies" or "concert wannabes". People ask me why don't I go and see someone different if I've seen the band so often and I say I love to watch them, I love to see how much they love playing with one another and I love feel the excitement. I love the hits, don't get me wrong, but it was wonderful to hear the other songs that I also love so much 'Love is a long Road' ah bliss! This was like listening to the Live Anthology set in person (I still can't pick a favorite one of the four they are all fantastic). I think the only song I was not familiar with was the Conway Twitty song but who cares? I love to hear them play. We are still flying high nearly two weeks later and what is keeping us afloat is the Tomy Petty channel on Sirius/XM. I am a little annoyed at some of the comments about this being the worst concert (& please the Bi-Polar comment was funny - we can all related to mental illness in our families, you have to laugh to survive) and what is making my Greek get going is that those people wasted tickets that I could have used for my four daughters and son in law who desperately wanted to go!!! One of them was trying to convince me to leave my husband home and take her, I could not get tickets for them (I got my two with the Highway Companions lottery) so you guys took my family's tickets as far as I'm concerned. To those people who think they wasted their money, please don't waste your money again and I'll be able to get the seven tickets that I need !! And I have to ask Tom - are you sure you don't have a little Greek in you? When you put your arms out and snap your fingers, I swear you are going to do a Zembetiko.....Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, best Rock n Roll band ever! Thanks guys xoxo
From another die-hard fan -Agree!! People are far too serious - can't say anything anymore without being pounced on.
Wonderful News! Have been listening for a few weeks and it has been a continuation of the show we saw at the Beacon May 25th. Love the variety of songs, the humor, the stories...love it all. Thanks!
