I wasn't talking about you or the hundreds of other true blue long time fans who were there. It was obvious that it being Saturday night in Hollywood, there were a lot of people there to be "seen". If you were in the back like I was there was non stop blabbering during the songs and while Tom was talking to the crowd. Very disrepectful to the artists and the true fans like you and me. I flew a long way for this show and having a bunch of drunken, yapping, texting idiots not paying attention was beyond annoying.
This is all on the venue. I was making my way to the floor (I had a GA floor ticket) and as I was digging for my ticket, the securtiy guy just waived me on through not taking the time to actually check if I had the proper credential to be down there. Anybody who wanted to be down on the floor just walked right in. It's more than unfortunate as many people traveled a long way at considerable expense to see this show. Shame on The Fonda. I thought Timothy did an excellent job handling the angry fallout that ensued.
Looking forward to tonight and hoping Tom and the band pull out some extra special gems for a show that is sure to have more true fans and less "posers" like last night.
