    "Running Man's Bible" in St. Paul was when it all clicked for me.

    A new song off Mojo, "Running Man's Bible" reads like the midnight ruminations of a man looking back over a lifetime spent on the highway between the centerline and the ditch and lived to tell the tale.

    St. Paul and Omaha Will Call opens at 5PM.

    Gates open at 6:30. For the 2 Summer Fest shows, Will Call opens at 12noon and gates open at 12noon.

    Five white banners ring the ceiling at Rexall Place, representing the five Stanley Cups the Edmonton Oilers have won in their history. Wayne Gretzky is largely responsible for four of those white banners, earning him a bronze statue out in front of the arena, a street named in his honor and his retired #99 jersey hanging in the rafters.

    Dunlop is a music accessory company based in Northern California who makes pedals, guitar picks, slides, capos, guitar strings, and a host of other products.

    The new record has a darker hue in places than some chapters in the Petty catalogue, with a thick, present sound and lyrics so sharp they draw blood. A bit of Mudcrutch's psychedelic bent also finds its way into the proceedings, particularly on standout "First Flash of Freedom."

    "The takes were usually very early takes, and I wanted to leave room for improvisation. We didn't really demo this up. I just came in with my guitar, played them a song on it and took it from there," says Petty. "So, everyone had a lot to contribute.

    Frontman and songwriter for The Heartbreakers rock band, Tom Petty has also enjoyed success as a solo artist. He hosts his own XM Radio show, on which he shares tracks from his personal record collection, and has made appearances in movies and on TV shows, including The Simpsons. Born and raised in Florida, Petty began playing music in high school and later moved to Los Angeles in search of a recording contract. He's a Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee and recipient of the Billboard Century Award for his lifetime achievements.
