TP, you probably don't know (well, I'd say you definitely don't), but Van Morrison certainly does, that Educating Archie was a long-running and very successful radio series in the 50s about a ventriloquist and his dummy Archie. Hmm, ventriloquism on the radio? that can't have been very hard...Anyway, people liked it, and it had a guest spot for comedians several of whom went on to be stars: well, you won't have heard of *them* either but you can read about them here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Educating_Archie
