Had the luck of the Gods and got a ticket to see The Heartbreakers on 20-June-2012. What a truely magnificent night. In fact the best ever gig by a country mile. Mike's playing magical. Us mere morals in the audience were just looking at one another dumbstruck. And the sublimity of Benmont's keyboard skills. Oh dear me. Steve Ferrone, well obviously feel bad for not being loyal enough to Stan but what a replacement. And so glad Jackson has that glass jaw otherwise we would not have experienced the ghost of Roy Orbison reproduced by worthy newbie Scott. Did I mention Tom? What can one say? I hope the words and music continue to pour forth Tom. Long may you all continue with good work, my friends.

Best gig ever. The band are so tight. Flawless. Am big gig goer but 20-June-2102 is without shadow of a doubt my best gig ever. Mike Campbell - oh WOW and Benmont's subltle keyboards. So glad Jackson Brown has a glass jaw - Truely outstanding. Did I mention Tom? Goes without saying really. Sleepless for a good week now. Oh yeah and Ron. Oh dear me. Missed the Heartbreakers by hairs breath in Canada 1981 but so so worth the wait. Just..... Do not leave it too long chaps. You are still young. If you are so am I.

Waited over 20 years for this gig and well worth the wait. Nobody but Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers could have put on such a fantastic show, and what a bonus to see Steve Winwood as a guest. I live in Edinburgh but spent the week in London just to see Tom Petty. A great show - please come back soon.

Fantastic show which brought a tear to my eye when they first came on stage - never seen them live before! Their musicianship is outstanding and long may those wonderful songs endure. Thanks guys for such a brilliant evening and good luck with the rest of the tour.

It took a bit of organising to get to London and back from Greenock within 24 hours, but worth every penny for the most fantastic gig EVER. Can't believe how good it was - thank you, TP and Heartbreakers - you were sensational. xxxxxx

Looks like the performers weren't happy with someone in the crowd, but maybe not? If the link doesn't go through, the title at youtube is: Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers - Free Falllin - Royal Albert Hall, London - 20th June 2012 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIgzFvOTxTo

A massive Thank You to Greg - one of the Sound Guys - for getting me a setlist on Wednesday night - it is very much appreciated - & thanks so much for taking the time to talk to my husband & I on Wednesday afternoon outside the RAH. Also a massive Thank You to Ron Blair for signing the setlist, it was so very kind of you to take the time to do it for me - again it is so very much appreciated! I've been a fan of the band for about 23 years now so the signed setlist means an awful lot to me! Enjoy the rest of your Tour & have a safe journey home. Regards, pink_n_fluffy. Apologies for posting twice - once in the London 1 Recap & again in here - but I couldn't find the London 2 Recap when I posted first of all! Peace & Love x
