Despite the departure from the old rocker style that people have come to expect, after listening to MOJO I find it to be a masterful album that only makes me appreciate Tom Petty and the Heartbreaks more. I am blown away by Mike Cambell's mastery of the guitar and Tom Petty's smooth but powerful lyrics which are perfect to listen to whether I want to chill out or get pumped up and rock. This album has everything from a slow beautiful song to a catchy rock song that I could see everyone cheering for at his concerts. This album definatley gets my MOJO going! Keep giving us the good stuff Tom Petty! We love you!! Since we don't live locally to any show any day is fine.

us 41 is probably my favorite, because it is the real thang,,,love the blues. lyrically this may be the best album the heartbreakers have ever had. I liked getting to hear them before release, so singing along is fantastic. when people ask who i am listening to , they ohh and aww that there is new stuff and it is so good. well nothing but the best from those florida boys.

After listening to MOJO 25 times, I'm ready for 25,000 more! This is the album I've been waiting for since Wildflowers. Despite some cold reviews, I think those people are just missing the boat. This album ROCKS!! We finally get a good dose of the Heartbreakers. Everybody is present and accounted for. They always have been but, not like this. Instead of serving the songs, they are the songs. Recorded live on the floor, there are times when you can feel just that. It's almost like the Heartbreakers are there in the room with you. I mean right in front of you. The Blu-ray is going to be AWESOME! Tom Petty has written another MASTERPIECE. The album as a whole fits together like a beautiful puzzle. It's not all blues as some would have you believe. The soft, tasteful ballads Something Good Coming and No Reason To Cry are probably Tom's best ever. Candy is one of the funniest songs I've ever heard. I don't go for them turnip greens either! You have to love Don't Pull Me Over...reggae and relate-able! Tom Petty is obviously on a song writing roll. Though he has stated that he's not writing for radio anymore, he's sure writing for somebody. Himself, his band, and his fans. The die-hard fans appreciate not only Tom but, The Heartbreakers, too. This album gives the fans a big tasty treat. It's Heartbreakers FULL ON! So, if you've got the Jefferson Jericho Blues and you need a Lover's Touch, get your First Flash of Freedom and Let Yourself Go on The Trip to Pirates Cove. There's No Reason To Cry because, there's Something Good Coming. I Should Have Known It. If you like to get High in the Morning then, MOJO is definitely Good Enough. If I should win I'd like to go to Milwaukee on the 26th. Thank you. !!!! TOM PETTY ROCKS !!!!

Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers never cease to inspire and amaze! Petty's lyrics shine while The Heartbreakers get to take front stage. If you've ever wondered what it would sound like when Mike Campbell gets a little run - turn on Mojo and prepare to be entertained. The energetic "Jefferson Jericho Blues"...the cheeky "Candy" ...Tom channelling his best Big Boss Man on "U.S. 41" and "High in Morning" are sure to produce a smile and get your leg shaking. As expected, Tom's songwriting genius is in full display on the beautiful cuts "No Reason to Cry", "Something Good Coming" and "The Trip to pirates Cove". Another masterpiece by TPATHB - making it look too easy to continue to grow, evolve, entertain and produce great music. Hope to hear as much MOJO as possible in OMAHA 6/23 or Milwaukee 6/26.

This is the best album to come down the pike from Tom and the band in a long long time. Being a blues fan....I just love it the blues tunes.
