    North American Tour and New Album Announcement
    We are excited to announce that Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will mount an extensive TOUR OF NORTH AMERICA this summer and also release their first studio album in eight years, Mojo, this spring.

    The tour begins May 6 in Raleigh, NC and will take the band throughout the US and Canada all summer long. Special guests on the tour will include a mix of appearances by My Morning Jacket, Crosby, Stills and Nash, Joe Cocker, ZZ Top, and Drive-By Truckers.

    Tickets for many of the shows go onsale to the public Monday March 8. Highway Companions Club presales will begin on Wednesday March 3.

    Mojo is Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' twelfth studio album and is the sound of a band making some of its most exhilarating music, over thirty years into their career.

    Every online ticket purchased to the tour comes with an MP3 download copy of Mojo, delivered via email on the album's release date, scheduled for this spring.

    Upon purchasing their ticket to the tour fans will receive an email with codes entitling them to download two tracks from Mojo right away. The tracks are "First Flash Of Freedom" and "Good Enough."

    "Good Enough" is currently streaming exclusively on TomPetty.com. Click here to listen.

    Plus, fans who purchase tickets online and download Mojo will also receive 8 tracks recorded during the 2010 Tour to be delivered after the tour. Members of the Highway Companions Club will receive an additional 6 live tracks for a total of 14 at the end of the tour.

So excited about the new album. Might catch the show. Is there ANYONE besides myself that would like to see TP do an acoustic record either by himself or with someone like Jakob Dylan, Dwight Yoakam, Matthew Sweet? A country record even. Waiting for 30 years. How about it TP? Even an EP would be awesome. The Gibsons. Mr. 12 String and Senor 6 String. They would love it. WE would love it. And wouldn't it do your soul good to share some of those songs that just don't have the musical hand of justice flowing thru them without the stripped down sound of your voice, your words across the strings, a dark room and whatver the cosmic radio tuned in that day? tom & the band thank you for touring again i am 46 years old with a beat up body but when you guy come to town i feel like im 17 again speeking of that my son is now 17 so he will be the designated driver this summer thank you once again by the way im going thru a divorce with my high school girl friend so im learning to fly OVER MY TROUBLES

I'm looking forward when the heartbreakers hit Oaktown. You and I will meet again, When we're least expecting it, One day in some far off place, I will recognize your face, I won't say goodbye my friend, For you and I will meet again (TP)

I've scene them once and it was the last time they were in Raliegh two years ago, one of the best nights of my life and now he is kicking it off in Raliegh a few days after finals and 4 days before my 21st birthday!!!!!! I am going to take a few more days off work then anticipated Thank you Tom Petty your going to make my 21st birthday better then I ever thought possible.

im just a texas girl but i think i might go to the boston show also...last tour i went to the hollywood bowl show & it was great to work in a little sight seeing time too.... as always, i'll see you in houston!!! i have a friend in dallas who's trying to get me the hook up there!!! maybe backstage passes????!!! who knows, just glad to see the show & have the new cd.

Hey, We love Tom Petty in the North West Coast too! Don't forget us! You have a gig listed as being in Seattle and it's not, it's in Quincy Washington and 2.5 hour drive from Seattle. I live in SouthWest Washington, close to Portland Oregon and it would take me 5 hours to drive to Quincy Washington! Please Add a concert for SouthWest Washington and the Portland Oregon folks!
