Love the photos. I was there. Friday nite - Sept. 22nd. Front row on the right side. What a great show it was. I am so blessed to have been able to attend. Thank you Mr. Tom Petty for all of the great years of inspirational Rock n Roll. I will miss you forever. MJL.

From the memorable show with Beck in SD years ago, with Steve Winwood in Boston & LA, Mudcrutch at the House of Blues in Boston and my final time seeing The Man with Peter Wolfe in Boston from the front row and catching Tom's guitar pick, I will forever be grateful for the rock, the emotion, the thrill and the love that Tom gave to his fans. See you down the eternal road.

Eternally grateful for the immense legacy of Tom's work and artistry. The memories evoked by the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are more precious to me than gold. Heartfelt condolences to Tom's family, friends, the band, and all the fans who deeply mourn his loss. Rest now, Tom. You will forever live in our hearts and collective music consciousness. As you helped us learn to fly, coming down is definitely the hardest thing. May we find some solace in our fond and cherished memories of you and the band.

So sorry to see you leave us, Tom Petty! I really enjoyed your show in Memphis back in May. Joel

We saw Tom and the Heartbreakers on the first night of their Hollywood Bowl run. The show was amazing... a perfect blend of hits and lesser-known Petty fan favorites. It's been a great year following Tom & the Heartbreakers as they traveled across the USA bringing their special brand of music to the masses. I bought a car in February that had XM radio as an option, so I signed up on a lark. I discovered Tom Petty Radio and broke the tuning knob off. There was nothing else I needed to hear. The music that Tom and Heartbreakers made was a constant source of joy to my ears, as was Tom's show Buried Treasures, and his personal musical favorites, not to mention Tom's hilarious sense of humor. I hope Tom pulls through, but it's looking pretty rocky right now. Either way, I'll always have his music in my heart. Much love to Tom, his family, and his friends and bandmates.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have seen Tom Petty at New Orleans Jazz Fest April 30th, and then in St. Louis May 10th this year. He was such a generous performer, giving his all for his fans, along with the Heartbreakers. I'm happy for his band that they had the special time touring together for the 40th tour. Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers definitely take up a lot of space on the soundtrack of my life. My condolences to his family and friends. May his memory live on until we see him again.
