Its been 4 hours of Good Enough non stop. I love it...I am hooked...Great opending lead. I plugged in my Fender Stratocaster into my handwired AC30 VOX with the reverb and delay turned on and oh God....that E chord sounds so good..... E-Am-C.... its 3 chord heaven for me...and whats good enough for Tom is great for me....Ok..so Matthew is my son. He is all of 7 years old. For the past 2 years this child has been hooked on Tom Petty and the HeartBreakers. I weaned him on TP's vocals and MC's melodious guitar work starting with thre Greatest Hits album and worked him all the way from the 1st 1976 album with the 1st song, Breakdown, to all of the in betweens (Into the Great Wide, Echo, Wildflowers, Full Moon Fever, Highway Companion are my favs...) I just hope that the Heartbreakers shell out some dough and record a live concert in this tour and put it on 1080p HD on Blu Ray (like the Soundtage concert in Blu Ray) and with a little bit of luck maybe they will catch me and Matthew in the front row....Ihave been a fan forever but I can best my last dollar that there isnt a bigger 7-year old fan than Matthew,,,,He is just going to go crazy-silly-happy when he learns that the heartbreakers are touring....ok..time to book airline tickets to Raleigh NC... BTW...the lead in Good Enough is easy to play..thats what I have always loved about Mike Campbell...the leads are so melodious and he does not show off or centerstage himself but rather supports the song...brings back haunting memories of "Its Good to be King" live on the Anthology album GREAT GOING GUYS.....HOPE YOU RECORD AT LEAST 2-3 MORE ALBUMS...TAKE MY 7 YEAR OLD KID INTO HIS TEENS ...PLEASE...This is 24-carat rock.....It does not get better than this.....

I agree, Tom opening his tours in Grand Rapids was really cool. No other bands have done that before. I thought we had a special thing going, but I guess not! Probably a scheduling conflict or maybe there will be another leg for secondary markets? Just found out that my membership expires two days before the presale. I don't know if it's worth it to renew only to get tickets which in the past haven't been that great. I guess I'll take my chances with the Ticketmaster general onsale.

Im so disapointed the guys are not stopping in Colorado. Not even Utah? It would be a 13 hour drive to the next closest city. So bummed.

There's no mention of how much the Mojo Package is going to cost, or of how many will be available.

I couldn't either - but if you log in, get rejected in the renew process, then log out, then log in AGAIN, it should let you renew after that. Don't know why, but a lot of folks have had to do that to make it work.

My girlfriend and I were at the show that kicked off the '08 tour in Grand Rapids, MI. It was a fantastic show! We can't wait to see them this summer! To Tom and the Heartbreakers: Thanks for the many years of great memories and all the great rock n roll! Back in the early 90's I was listening to "Pack Up The Plantation" constantly and I got a Golden Retriever and named him Rebel.
