    As previously reported five guitars belonging to Tom Petty, Mike Campbell, Ron Blair and Scott Thurston were stolen from Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' tour production rehearsal studio last week.

    We are happy to report that the guitars have been recovered by the Culver City Police Department.

    Tom Petty says, "I am extremely grateful to the Culver City Police Department for a job well done and touched by the outpouring of good wishes and concern from our fans and friends."

    Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' 2012 Tour begins tomorrow night in Broomfield, CO.

    Five guitars belonging to Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers have been stolen from the Soundstage in Culver City where they have been rehearsing for their US tour which will start next week.

    The stolen guitars are:

    Tom's Rickenbacker 360/12 - 1967 Blonde (serial # GH 3747)

    Scott's Epiphone Sheridan - 1967 (serial # to be updated ASAP)

    Tom's Gibson SG TV Junior - 1965 (serial # 318533)

    Ron's Fender Broadcaster – (serial # to be updated ASAP)
    (The photo is of Mike's Broadcaster, but Ron's was stolen.)

    Mike's Dusenberg Mike Campbell Model (serial # to be updated ASAP)

    Many thanks to all the Highway Companions Club members who entered during Weeks 1 and 2 of our vintage poster and concert ticket giveaway extravaganza. It's been simply incredible reading all of your responses about your favorite moments on Wildflowers and in Runnin' Down A Dream.

    For our final Week 3 we have a rare poster from the October 15, 2002 Movie Theater Simulcast of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers' performance of the entire Last DJ album, live from the Grand Olympic Auditorium in Los Angeles.
