    MALIBU, Calif. - Tom Petty's plunge into the blues left him ecstatic.

    "We finally made a record worthy of the band, one that makes use of the musicianship," he says. "Every rehearsal for years started with blues. It's how we sound after hours. I thought, 'we should stay where we naturally play.' I'm more excited than I've been in a long time."

    We are excited to announce that Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers will return to Tulsa, OK for a show at the BOK Center on September 23.

    The BOK Center concert will be the first time the band has played Tulsa since their June 29, 1985 show at Mohawk Park on the Southern Accents Tour.

    The public ticket onsale for this show will be Saturday June 19 at 10am local time, and Highway Companions Club Presales begin Tuesday June 15.

    * Please be advised that the digital download of Mojo and the 8 live tracks to be recorded on the 2010 tour are not be available with ticket purchase for the Tulsa show.

    Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers headed north of the border on Tuesday night for a highly anticipated appearance in Vancouver, British Columbia that rounded out the first week of the Mojo Summer 2010 tour.

    With a week til the release date, Canadians already appear to be familiar with Mojo - songs like "Running Man's Bible" and "Jefferson Jericho Blues" were not only appreciated by the packed house at General Motors Place, but also recognized. Fans sang along with Tom on "I Should Have Known It" and anticipated Mike Campbell's blistering guitar solo on "First Flash of Freedom."

    Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers are pleased to announce that they will be auctioning off a pair of front row seats to every upcoming show on their Mojo Tour 2010 to benefit Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Haiti Earthquake Relief.

    Since the massive earthquake struck on Janurary 12, MSF teams have treated more than 137,000 patients and performed 8,000 surgeries at 20 locations in Port-au-Prince.
