Petty Fest returned to New York City this week for the fifth year in a row boasting two nights and an expanded lineup featuring artists from across the rock 'n' roll spectrum.

Fans young and older packed the Music Hall of Williamsburg on October 5 and the Bowery Ballroom on October 6 for an experience which manages to come across as part legitimate concert and part raging and sometimes unhinged party.

The glue of the event and the reason everyone is gathered is the incredible music of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers.
