    Since St. Louis' Verizon Wireless Amphitheatre opened its doors in 1991, Ted Kornblum and Dave Hinson have hosted visiting artists at the AmpShack, their backstage music shop featuring some of the finest vintage gear on the planet.

    In December we posted a story from the Athens Banner-Herald that reported an apartment theft in Athens, GA. In addition to many other valuables, one of the stolen items was a Tom Petty box set.

    We posted the story on in an effort to help try and identify the victim of the robbery so we could replace their box set.

    We are pleased to announce that thanks to the help of fellow fans we were able to identify the victim of the crime as Ian Hebel and his Live Anthology box set has now been replaced. Tom even autographed it for him.

    The late Roy Orbison is honored with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame during an unveiling ceremony on Jan. 29.

    Orbison grew up in Wink, Texas, and recorded for Sun Records, becoming part of the label's artist roster. During his tenure on Nashville-based Monument Records, he recorded a string of hits such as "Only the Lonely," "Blue Bayou," and "Oh Pretty Woman." In addition to his solo career, he spent part of the '80s as a member of the Traveling Wilburys with Tom Petty, Jeff Lynne, Bob Dylan and George Harrison.
